Product overview

The OmniBook 3 is HP's entry in the Snapdragon X "AI PC" category: an ARM-based thin-and-light aimed at everyday productivity, video calls and long battery life rather than heavy workstation or gaming workloads. At 1.42 kg with a 14-inch 1920 x 1200 IPS panel, Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.3 and a Full HD IR camera, it targets students and mobile professionals. The listing also mentions a compact 65W USB-C GaN mini charger in the box, Office Home 2024, and a one-year Microsoft 365 Basic subscription.

Reasons to consider

• Snapdragon X delivers strong efficiency; the 60 Wh battery is large for a 1.42 kg machine
• Windows 11 plus Office Home 2024 and a year of Microsoft 365 Basic included out of the box
• FHD IR camera supports Windows Hello-style secure sign-in and better calls
• ₹52,990 is a competitive street price for a Snapdragon X laptop in India
• If the advertised SBI credit card EMI discount applies to your order, the effective price could drop toward ₹44,240 — exceptional value for this class

Pros and cons

Pros

• Lightweight (1.42 kg) with a 16:10 productivity display
• Modern connectivity: Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.3
• Bundled Office 2024 and Microsoft 365 Basic reduce extra software cost
• Amazon-fulfilled with free delivery and a named seller

Cons

• 8GB RAM is the minimum for Windows 11; heavy multitaskers may feel limited, and LPDDR5x is not upgradeable
• ARM Windows still has app-compatibility edge cases — check whether your critical x86 apps run well under emulation
• The headline ₹44,240 price depends on an SBI credit card EMI offer we could not confirm on Amazon's page
• The advertised MRP of ₹139,545 and "68% off" figure appear inflated relative to the market

Buyer fit

A good fit if you want a light, battery-efficient Windows laptop for office work, study, browsing and calls — especially if you hold an SBI credit card and can use EMI. Skip it if you run specialised Windows software or games that may not play nicely with ARM, or if 8GB RAM is too small for your workload.

Final verdict

At the verified Amazon price of ₹52,990, the HP OmniBook 3 is a reasonable buy for a Snapdragon X ultraportable with Office included. The advertised ₹44,240 effective price — via a flat ₹10,750 SBI credit card EMI discount — would make it outstanding, but treat that figure as unverified and confirm the bank offer on the Amazon checkout page before ordering. Worth buying if you need it; check SBI card eligibility and EMI terms first.
