Quick facts

Product overview

This is a multi-function lineman-style plier aimed at home electrical work and general DIY. Alongside the standard gripping and cutting jaws, the listing advertises an integrated wire cutter, a line tester for checking live circuits, and a 2-in-1 screwdriver. At 8 inches it is a full-size plier rather than a mini precision tool.

Reasons to consider

• The advertised ₹159 price is very low for an 8-inch combination plier with extra functions.
• One tool covers cutting, gripping, testing and basic screwdriving, which is handy for a home toolkit.
• Hillgrove is an established budget hand-tool brand commonly sold on Indian marketplaces.

Pros and cons

Pros

• Extremely low advertised price
• Multiple functions in a single tool
• Full 8-inch size for better leverage

Cons

• Flipkart page was unreachable (HTTP error) when we checked, so current price and stock are unconfirmed
• The claimed ₹799 MRP and 80% discount could not be verified and may be inflated anchor pricing
• Budget multi-function tools can compromise on build quality versus dedicated tools

Buyer fit

Worth a look if you are assembling a basic home or electrician's toolkit on a tight budget and want a single tool covering several jobs. Professional electricians who rely on a tester or plier daily may prefer proven single-purpose tools.

Final verdict

At an advertised ₹159 this is a cheap, low-risk addition to a home toolkit — provided the price holds on Flipkart. We could not confirm the live price or availability on the product page, so check the listing yourself before ordering and treat the 80%-off framing with caution.
