Product overview

This is a rechargeable emergency LED bulb/lamp: it works as a regular 12W bulb and keeps glowing for up to about two hours during a power cut. The page lists a single unit in Cool White; a 4-pack option appears at a different per-unit price. Buyers typically use these for rooms, staircases, and shops where brief outages are common.

Reasons to consider

• ₹89 for a branded 12W rechargeable emergency bulb is an unusually low price — comparable inverter bulbs from Wipro, Eveready, and Halonix typically list at ₹159–₹218 on the same page.
• 1-year replacement warranty and 7-day returns reduce risk on a low-cost purchase.
• Cash on delivery is available, useful if you want to inspect the unit before paying effectively.

Pros and cons

Pros

• Very low listed price versus MRP and versus rival emergency bulbs
• Branded product (Orient Electric) with a meaningful rating sample (~1,192 ratings)
• 2-hour battery backup covers most short outages
• Seller has a decade-long Flipkart history

Cons

• 3.9/5 rating is middling — expect mixed experiences on battery life and durability
• 2-hour backup is shorter than the 3–4 hour alternatives listed alongside it
• "Buy at ₹84" requires extra offers; not everyone will get that effective price
• Pack-of-4 variant works out costlier per unit (₹213/unit as displayed)

Buyer fit

A sensible pick if you want a cheap backup-light option for occasional power cuts and prefer a known brand over unbranded imports. If you need longer backup (3–4 hours), rivals like the Eveready 9W or Wipro Garnet cost more but last longer per charge.

Final verdict

At ₹89, this is a strong impulse-buy price for a branded rechargeable emergency bulb — worth grabbing while the listed event lasts if you have a use for it. Verify the price and seller at checkout before paying, since Flipkart prices vary by variant and offers.
