Quick facts

Product overview

The Nike Free Run 5.0 is engineered for road running, warm-ups, and gym sessions where natural foot flexibility is essential. It features a breathable, lightweight knit upper paired with laser-cut flex grooves across the outsole to enable natural biomechanical movement.

Reasons to consider

• Substantial saving: 50% off original retail brings a premium Nike runner close to entry-level pricing.
• Flexible sole profile: Built for runners and gym enthusiasts who prefer minimalist, close-to-ground foot movement.
• Additional discounts: Card promotions and SuperCoin redemptions can trim the price further to around ₹3,733.

Why consider it

Getting genuine Nike performance footwear at half price is relatively rare, especially across core running silhouettes.

Pros and cons

• Pros: Lightweight design; comfortable flexible sole; 6-month brand warranty; Flipkart Assured badge.
• Cons: Certain size and color combinations may be out of stock; minimalist cushioning is not ideal for marathon distances.

Buyer fit

This pair suits runners seeking a barefoot-style feel for shorter runs (3-8 km), fitness walkers, and gym-goers wanting flexible trainers. It is less suited for heavy runners needing high-stack stability or plush heel support.

Who should buy it

Shoppers seeking reputable Nike running trainers at under ₹4,500 should consider this pair.

Final verdict

At ₹4,148, the Nike Free Run 5.0 represents solid value if your size remains in stock. Check size availability and available card discounts directly on the checkout screen before final purchase.
