At a glance

Product overview

This is a compact 600 W multipurpose electric kettle with a 1.2-litre stainless-steel body and a transparent flat glass lid with a stainless-steel rim. Greenchef positions it for more than boiling water — the listing mentions milk, tea, coffee, soup, noodles, steaming eggs and reheating food.

Practical specs from the merchant page include a concealed heating element (helps reduce calcification and makes cleaning easier), dry-boil protection, auto switch-off, over-heating protection and a power indicator. It weighs about 0.85 kg with a 0.65 m cord. There is no lockable lid and no water-level indicator, which is worth noting at this price.

Reasons to consider

• Low entry price: At a listed ₹799 (or ₹759 with bank offers), this is cheap for a branded multipurpose kettle with a 1-year warranty.
• Established seller: RetailNet is Flipkart's own retail arm with a decade on the platform, which lowers fulfilment risk.
• Safety features: Dry-boil protection, auto switch-off and over-heating protection are genuinely useful at the budget end.
• Versatility: The wide mouth and multipurpose design suit students, small households and office pantries that want one appliance for water, Maggi and tea.

Pros and cons

Pros

• Large advertised discount off MRP
• Concealed element and stainless-steel body
• Dry-boil and over-heating protection
• Flipkart Assured, COD available, 7-day replacement

Cons

• ₹26 Protect Promise fee on top of the listed price
• No lockable lid or water-level indicator
• Short 0.65 m cord limits placement
• Bank-offer price of ₹759 depends on eligible cards

Buyer fit

A good fit for students, single users and small kitchens wanting a cheap, multipurpose kettle from a known seller. Less suitable if you need a larger capacity, a lockable lid for travel, or a longer power cord. Check bank-offer eligibility at checkout before counting on the ₹759 effective price.

Final verdict

If you need a budget multipurpose kettle, this is a reasonable buy at the advertised ₹799 — but verify the final price and delivery date in your cart, since the discount was read from page text rather than confirmed pricing markup, and the headline price excludes the ₹26 fee.
