Product overview

BLDC (brushless DC) ceiling fans draw substantially less power than conventional induction-motor fans, which is why they carry 5-star efficiency positioning and have become popular in Indian homes. This Helix variant adds a remote control, LED indicators, an "aeroquiet" design claim, a reverse mode for winter air recirculation, and a stated 4-year motor warranty. The 1200 mm sweep is the standard size for medium Indian rooms.

Reasons to consider

• A remote-controlled BLDC fan at an advertised ₹2,289 sits toward the budget end of the category.
• Remote control and reverse mode are genuinely useful for bedrooms and high ceilings.
• A 4-year motor warranty, if honoured, reduces long-term risk on a lesser-known brand.

Pros and cons

Pros

• Low advertised price for a BLDC + remote fan
• 5-star efficiency claims mean lower running costs
• Remote, LED indicators and reverse mode included

Cons

• Live price and stock could not be confirmed — the merchant page was inaccessible at check time
• Colorbot is a relatively low-profile brand; after-sales coverage may vary by city
• The 68% off claim could not be verified and the underlying MRP may be inflated

Buyer fit

Worth a look if you need an energy-efficient ceiling fan for a bedroom or living room and are comfortable with a budget brand. Less suitable if you want an established service network — it is worth comparing with better-known BLDC fan brands before ordering.

Final verdict

An attractive advertised price for the feature set, but it is an advertised claim only: Flipkart's page could not be read, so open the listing and confirm the live price, seller name, and warranty terms before ordering. If it is genuinely ₹2,289 in stock, it looks like good value for a remote-controlled BLDC fan.
