Quick facts

Product overview

Elica is a well-known Italian brand with a strong presence in India's kitchen chimney segment. The VENTRA FL 600 HAC MS NERO sits in the brand's filterless autoclean lineup, which uses a heat auto-clean mechanism to push grease into a collection cup rather than relying on mesh or baffle filters that need periodic washing. The 60 cm width suits standard Indian kitchen hobs, and the 1,500 m³/hr suction rating is suited to heavy Indian cooking with frequent frying and tempering.

The T-shape design blends into modular kitchen setups. Touch and motion sensor controls add everyday convenience. The warranty package — 10 years on the motor and 5 years comprehensive cover on key electrical and glass components — is notably generous and a meaningful differentiator in this category.

The Amazon listing carries 42 ratings with a 4.4-star average, a reasonable early signal of user satisfaction.

Reasons to consider

• Strong suction for Indian cooking: 1,500 m³/hr handles heavy oil and smoke from deep-frying or tadka without repeated passes.
• No filter maintenance: The autoclean filterless system eliminates the chore of washing greasy mesh filters every few weeks.
• Long warranty: A 10-year motor warranty and 5-year comprehensive cover are among the better protection packages in this segment.
• Trusted brand: Elica has an established service network in India, which matters for a large kitchen appliance.
• Solid early ratings: 4.4 stars across 42 reviews suggests early buyers are satisfied.

Pros and cons

Pros

• Filterless autoclean design reduces upkeep
• High 1,500 m³/hr suction capacity
• Generous 10-year motor warranty
• Touch and motion sensor controls
• Reputable brand with Indian service presence

Cons

• Currently unavailable on Amazon India — no confirmed price or delivery timeline
• Advertised discount (68% off, ₹8,541) cannot be independently verified
• Only 42 ratings — relatively small review base for a large appliance purchase
• T-shape designs typically require more headroom clearance above the hob

Buyer fit

This chimney suits buyers with a 60 cm hob who cook frequently with high heat or oil and want to minimise filter-cleaning effort. The autoclean mechanism and strong suction make it a practical choice for households where Indian cooking is a daily affair. The warranty terms are reassuring for a long-term kitchen investment.

Buyers who need a chimney immediately should look at in-stock alternatives. Those willing to wait can bookmark the Amazon listing and check back for restocking. If the advertised price were confirmed active, it would represent meaningful value for an autoclean chimney with these specifications — but that cannot be verified today.

Final verdict

The Elica VENTRA FL 600 HAC MS NERO is a capable, well-warranted filterless chimney that would be worth serious consideration at ₹8,541 if that price were active. Amazon India currently shows the product as unavailable with no confirmed selling price, so the advertised 68% discount cannot be verified. If you are planning a kitchen renovation and can afford to wait, add this to your Amazon wishlist and monitor for restocking. If you need a chimney now, explore in-stock alternatives in the same suction and autoclean category.
