Product overview

The Arno Neo is a 15-litre storage geyser from Crompton aimed at small to medium households. It carries a 5-star energy-efficiency rating and is marketed with a three-level safety system covering the thermostat, thermal cut-out and pressure relief. The 'National Energy Conservation Award Winner 2023' tag refers to Crompton's recognition in the appliance category, as stated in the product listing.

Reasons to consider

• A 15-litre capacity suits a small household or kitchen-plus-bathroom use.
• The 5-star rating means lower running costs than lower-rated storage geysers over time.
• At an advertised ₹4,905 effective price, it represents a sizeable reduction on the ₹10,400 listed original price.
• Sold by RetailEZ Pvt Ltd and fulfilled by Amazon, with free delivery shown on the listing.

Pros and cons

Pros

• Large gap between the advertised effective price and the listed original price if the SBI offer applies.
• 5-star BEE rating for energy efficiency.
• Recognised brand with an established service network in India.

Cons

• The headline ₹4,905 price is conditional on paying with an SBI credit card and applying a ₹250 coupon; the base Amazon selling price we observed is ₹5,698.
• Bank-card discounts on Amazon are account- and offer-specific and can change or expire without notice.
• 15 litres may be small for families running a shower consecutively for several people.

Buyer fit

This fits buyers who already hold an SBI credit card and need a compact, efficient storage geyser for a bathroom or kitchen. If you do not have an SBI card, judge the deal at the observed ₹5,698 Amazon price, which may still be reasonable for a 5-star unit.

Final verdict

Worth considering if you need a water heater this season. Confirm the coupon checkbox and the SBI card discount on the checkout page before buying — the advertised ₹4,905 depends on both applying, while the verified page price is ₹5,698.
