Product overview

This is a three-container lunch set from Borosil's glass tiffin range. The containers are borosilicate glass, which is microwave- and freezer-safe and does not retain odours or stains the way plastic boxes can. Two 320 ml containers handle mains or sides, while a smaller 240 ml round container suits dal, raita, or chutney. Everything packs into an insulated-style teal fabric carry bag sized for office or college use.

Reasons to consider

• Borosil is a well-known Indian glassware brand; its borosilicate containers are genuinely microwave safe, which many cheap "glass-look" boxes are not.
• ₹499 for a branded 3-piece glass set with a carry bag is a strong price if the listing honours it — comparable Borosil sets commonly list well above that.
• The Flipkart product page for this exact variant is live, so this is a real, identifiable product rather than a vague storefront promo.

Pros and cons

Pros

• Reusable borosilicate glass: microwave, freezer and dishwasher friendly
• Three sizes cover a full lunch (two mains + one side)
• Carry bag included

Cons

• The ₹499 price could not be verified on the merchant page at check time; the live price may differ
• Glass containers are heavier and breakable compared with steel or plastic tiffins
• Claimed 67% discount is against an MRP that may be inflated

Buyer fit

Good for office-goers and students who want microwave-safe glass containers from a known brand and are comfortable verifying the live price on Flipkart before ordering. Skip if you need something lightweight or drop-proof.

Final verdict

Worth a look if you were already shopping for a glass lunch set: ₹499 is a strong advertised price for a Borosil 3-piece set with a bag, but the merchant page did not confirm the selling price to us, so check the current listing price on Flipkart and compare with similar Borosil sets before buying.
