Quick facts

Product overview

The PartyPal 390/400 is boAt's big party speaker aimed at house gatherings and karaoke nights. It pushes 160W of what boAt calls Signature Sound, supports Bluetooth v5.3 plus AUX, USB Type-C and TF card playback, and includes EQ modes (Normal, Party, Pop, Rock and Jazz). There are two microphone input ports for karaoke, a dedicated guitar input, flame-effect LED lighting with adjustable brightness, TWS pairing, and a rated playtime of up to 6 hours — the weakest spec on the sheet for all-night use.

Reasons to consider

• 160W output with karaoke mic inputs and a guitar input is a strong feature set for a speaker at this price point.
• Amazon lists it in stock, sold by Clicktech Retail, so the deal is live and buyable.
• The SBI credit card discount brings the effective price down to roughly the advertised ₹8,099.
• Bluetooth 5.3, TWS mode and multiple wired inputs cover most playback scenarios.

Pros and cons

Pros

• Very loud 160W output for parties
• Karaoke-ready with two mic ports, plus guitar input
• Multiple connectivity options: Bluetooth 5.3, AUX, USB Type-C, TF card
• Flame LEDs and EQ modes for ambience

Cons

• Up to 6 hours of playtime is modest for a party speaker at full volume
• The ₹8,099 advertised price depends on the SBI credit card offer; the base listing price is ₹8,999
• The quoted 77% discount is measured against a ₹34,990 MRP, which is inflated relative to the product's typical street price

Buyer fit

This suits buyers who want a loud single-box party speaker for occasional gatherings, karaoke or small events, especially anyone holding an SBI credit card who can capture the extra discount. It is less suited to buyers needing long battery life away from a power socket, or anyone expecting audiophile-grade sound — this is a volume-and-features product, not a hi-fi one.

Final verdict

A solid buy if you need a high-output karaoke-capable party speaker and can use an SBI credit card — the effective price lands near the advertised ₹8,099, which is good value for the feature set. Without the card offer it is ₹8,999, still reasonable but less exceptional, so check the bank offer at checkout before committing.
