Product overview

The Pixaplay 35 is Zebronics' budget Android smart projector aimed at casual home entertainment. It runs an Android-based interface with preloaded OTT apps including Netflix and Prime Video, so you do not need a separate streaming stick for the basics. Connectivity covers WiFi, Bluetooth 5.4, HDMI and USB, plus Miracast for wireless screen mirroring from phones and laptops.

The headline specs are a 4000-lumen brightness rating, support for 4K UHD input signals (the projector accepts 4K content, though native panel resolution is lower — a common budget-projector caveat), auto keystone correction, a tiltable body and a claimed maximum screen size of 100 inches.

Reasons to consider

• Very low entry price for a smart projector. At ₹5,499 with built-in OTT apps, this is among the cheapest ways to get a big-screen streaming setup without buying a separate streaming stick.
• All-in-one convenience. Android OS, WiFi, Bluetooth, Miracast, HDMI and USB cover most casual use cases out of the box.
• Flexible placement. The 240° tiltable design and auto keystone correction make it easier to project onto a wall or ceiling without precise mounting.
• Optional extended warranty. Amazon offers a 1-year Onsitego extended warranty add-on for ₹315, which is cheap peace of mind on budget electronics.

Pros and cons

Pros

• Confirmed ₹5,499 selling price, in stock
• Built-in Netflix, Prime Video and Miracast — no extra streaming device needed
• Auto keystone and tilt adjustment simplify setup
• Multiple inputs: HDMI, USB, WiFi, Bluetooth 5.4

Cons

• "4000 lumens" is a manufacturer marketing figure; real-world brightness in a lit room will be far lower — this is best used in a dark room
• "4K UHD support" means it accepts 4K input, not that it projects natively in 4K
• Budget projectors at this price typically have modest native resolution, fan noise and average speakers
• No coupon or bank discount confirmed on the page — the ₹5,499 figure is the straight selling price

Buyer fit

This suits buyers who want a cheap big-screen experience for occasional movie nights in a dark room — students, renters, or anyone curious about projection without spending on a premium projector or a large TV. It is not a good fit if you need daytime visibility, sharp native high-resolution output, or a primary TV replacement. For that, a brighter home-cinema projector or a large TV is the better spend.

Final verdict

At ₹5,499 the Zebronics Pixaplay 35 is a reasonable buy if your expectations match its budget tier: dark-room viewing, casual streaming, and a big-ish picture rather than a pin-sharp one. The price is verified live on Amazon and matches its recent street price, so there is no urgency — but no reason to wait either. Manage expectations on brightness and native resolution, and consider the ₹315 extended warranty given the category's reliability track record.
