Product overview

The EA 122 is Zebronics' entry-level desktop monitor. It pairs a 21.5-inch Full HD panel with the two most common PC outputs — HDMI for modern systems and VGA for older desktops and point-of-sale hardware — which makes it a practical drop-in replacement for ageing displays. At 250 nits it suits indoor office and home use rather than bright, sunlit rooms. The wall-mountable design helps on tight desks, and the claimed dynamic contrast ratio of 2,000,000:1 is a marketing figure typical of budget monitors rather than a measure of true static contrast.

Reasons to consider

• ₹3,299 is below the ₹3,499 this exact model sold for in recent weeks — a modest but real reduction.
• Dual HDMI/VGA inputs cover both new PCs and older hardware without adapters.
• Full HD at 21.5 inches keeps text reasonably sharp for documents and browsing.
• Amazon fulfilment and a recognisable domestic brand simplify returns and warranty claims versus unbranded imports.

Pros and cons

Pros

• Lowest tracked price for this model on Amazon India
• HDMI plus VGA connectivity out of the box
• Compact 21.5-inch size fits small desks
• In stock at the verified price

Cons

• 250-nit brightness is modest; not ideal for bright rooms
• No DisplayPort, USB-C, height adjustment or built-in speakers worth noting
• The advertised 74% discount is unverified — Amazon shows no supporting MRP
• Budget panel quality; not suitable for colour-critical work

Buyer fit

This suits buyers needing a cheap secondary screen, a replacement for an older VGA-era monitor, or a budget display for a home office, shop counter or study desk. It is not the right pick for gaming at high refresh rates, photo editing, or anyone needing ergonomic adjustment beyond basic tilt.

Final verdict

At ₹3,299 the EA 122 is a sensible buy if you need a straightforward Full HD monitor on a tight budget — this is the lowest price we have tracked for it. Treat the advertised 74% off figure as marketing, since no matching list price is shown on the product page. The deal is verified at the stated price and in stock, so it is worth acting on while the price holds.
