Quick facts

Product overview

The Portronics Toad 33 is a compact wireless mouse designed for everyday computing. It connects via a 2.4 GHz USB nano-receiver — the kind you plug in once and leave in place. Portronics markets it as compatible with laptops, desktops, PCs, and Macs. The ergonomic shape is intended to reduce hand fatigue during extended sessions, and sensitivity is adjustable, letting users switch between DPI levels to suit different tasks or surfaces.

Portronics is an established Indian accessories brand with wide distribution on Amazon India. The Toad series sits firmly in the budget segment, making it a practical entry-level option for buyers who want wireless convenience without spending much.

Reasons to consider

• Low confirmed price: ₹253 from the Amazon buy-box is a competitive entry point for a branded wireless mouse.
• No cables: The 2.4 GHz USB receiver delivers reliable cordless use without Bluetooth pairing complexity.
• Broad compatibility: Works with Windows, Mac, and most operating systems that recognise standard HID mice — no driver installation typically required.
• Amazon-fulfilled: Shipping, returns, and after-sale support go through Amazon's standard process, reducing risk on a low-cost purchase.
• Known brand: Portronics has an established Indian service network, which matters if warranty support is ever needed.

Pros and cons

Pros

• Confirmed in-stock price of ₹253 on Amazon India
• 2.4 GHz wireless — no Bluetooth dependency
• Adjustable sensitivity for different use cases
• Amazon-fulfilled with standard return window
• Established Indian accessories brand

Cons

• MRP not extracted — advertised discount cannot be independently verified
• No colour options confirmed beyond Black in this listing
• Budget-tier build quality is typical for this price range; no independent test data available
• Specific DPI range and battery life specs not confirmed from the merchant page text retrieved

Buyer fit

This mouse suits buyers who need a simple, no-fuss wireless mouse for everyday office or home use and want to spend as little as possible. It is a sensible choice for students, secondary workstations, or as a travel backup. Buyers who need precise DPI specs, long battery life guarantees, or premium build quality should look at higher-budget options. If you already own a wireless mouse you are happy with, the saving here is modest in absolute rupee terms and may not justify a replacement.

Final verdict

At ₹253 confirmed on Amazon India, the Portronics Toad 33 is a credible budget wireless mouse from a known Indian brand. The price is verified by the Amazon buy-box, the product is in stock, and it ships via an Amazon-fulfilled seller. The main unknown is the MRP — without it, the deal's depth is unclear and the discount cannot be confirmed. If you need a basic wireless mouse at a low price and are comfortable with that uncertainty, this is worth checking. Confirm the final price at checkout, as budget-tier listings can move quickly.
