Product overview

This is a basic wired optical mouse for everyday computer use. The product description lists 2400 DPI tracking, a 1.5 m cable, ambidextrous use and an ergonomic grip. Its plug-and-play setup should suit shoppers who want a simple mouse without charging or battery replacement. These listed specifications do not establish long-term real-world performance.

Reasons to consider

At ₹119, it is positioned as a low-cost replacement or spare for a desktop, laptop or office setup. The cable avoids wireless pairing and battery concerns, while the ambidextrous shape may work for users who switch hands. The listed 2400 DPI specification should be adequate for ordinary browsing and office work, subject to personal preference.

Pros and cons

Pros: low observed price, wired plug-and-play connection, ambidextrous design, 1.5 m cable and a practical everyday-use design.

Cons: the advertised discount could not be confirmed, wired operation is less convenient than wireless, and the listed specifications were not independently hands-on tested.

Buyer fit

Consider it if you need an inexpensive wired mouse for routine browsing, office work or as a backup. It is less suitable if you specifically want wireless convenience, advanced gaming controls or independently tested accuracy. Check the selected variant, seller, delivery charge and return terms before paying.

Final verdict

This is a reasonable low-cost buy if a basic wired mouse meets your needs: Amazon’s product page showed the Portronics Toad 103 at ₹119 and marked it in stock. The price may change, and the advertised 76% saving should not be treated as confirmed because the matching MRP was unavailable.
