Product overview

This is a 1200mm ceiling fan from Polycab's Wizzy Plus range with a BLDC motor, which typically means lower power consumption than a conventional induction-motor fan. The listing highlights a remote control, an LED indicator, and multiple operating modes including reverse, boost, sleep and breeze. The variant observed is Matt Black.

Reasons to consider

• BLDC fans in this price band usually pay back their premium through lower electricity use, and a BEE 5-star rating supports the efficiency claim.
• The included remote and modes (sleep, breeze, reverse for winter circulation) are practical additions, not just marketing labels.
• The ₹2,899 price is confirmed on the Amazon page itself, so the advertised figure matches the merchant's current selling price.

Pros and cons

Pros

• Confirmed ₹2,899 selling price, in stock
• BEE 5-star rated BLDC motor for energy savings
• Remote control with multiple modes and LED indicator
• 3-year warranty per the listing

Cons

• No explicit MRP or discount percentage shown in the observed pricing, so we cannot quantify the saving versus list price
• The same product has appeared at similar prices before, so this is a solid price rather than an exceptional drop
• Seller is a third-party merchant (RetailEZ Pvt Ltd) fulfilled via Amazon; delivery dates vary by location

Buyer fit

This suits buyers replacing an older induction fan who want remote control and lower running costs without spending on premium BLDC models. If you already have a working BLDC fan, the incremental benefit is small. Buyers needing very high air delivery for large rooms should check the fan's airflow specs against their room size.

Final verdict

At a confirmed ₹2,899 with the fan in stock, this is a reasonable, verified price for a BEE 5-star BLDC ceiling fan with remote and a 3-year warranty. It is worth buying if you need a fan now, though it is not a dramatic discount — the same model has sold at a similar price previously, so there is no urgency beyond current availability.
