Product overview

This is a unisex silicone swim cap from Lifelong, an Indian fitness and accessories brand. It is designed for adults and short hair, with a waterproof silicone construction intended to keep hair drier and reduce drag in the pool. Silicone caps like this one are the standard choice for recreational and fitness swimmers because they are more durable and easier to put on than latex alternatives. The listing highlights an easy-fit design aimed at casual swimmers rather than competitive racing.

Reasons to consider

• ₹179 is a low entry price for a silicone swim cap, which is typically a pricier material than latex.
• It is Amazon-fulfilled, which generally means reliable delivery and easier returns than seller-shipped listings.
• Silicone construction suits regular pool use and is gentler on hair than latex.
• A unisex, easy-fit design covers most adult casual swimmers without sizing guesswork.

Pros and cons

Pros

• Very low price for the category
• Confirmed in stock at ₹179 on Amazon.in
• Fulfilled by Amazon with free delivery shown

Cons

• The advertised 80% discount could not be verified — no MRP was shown on the page
• Fit is "easy fit" rather than a snug racing fit, so it may not suit long or thick hair
• Silicone caps keep hair drier but do not guarantee fully dry hair

Buyer fit

This suits adults who swim recreationally or are starting swimming lessons and want a basic, inexpensive cap from a recognisable Indian brand. If you have long or very thick hair, or need a competition-style fit, look at caps explicitly sized for long hair instead.

Final verdict

At a confirmed ₹179 with Amazon fulfilment, this is a reasonable impulse-buy price for a basic silicone swim cap. Treat the "80% off" figure as an advertised claim rather than a verified discount — even so, ₹179 is cheap for this product type, so if you need a swim cap, it is worth picking up.
