Product overview

This is a 31-piece white opalware dinner set from Larah, Borosil's tableware brand, in the Bamboo Leaves design from the Fluted series. The set is pitched for everyday family dining and gifting, with plates and bowls covering six place settings. Opalware is a tempered glass material that is lighter than ceramic stoneware, and the listing notes it is bone-ash free, microwave safe and dishwasher safe — practical for daily reheating and cleaning.

Reasons to consider

• The Amazon page confirms a selling price of ₹1,487.97 for the full 31-piece set — low for a branded dinner set of this size.
• The 4.5-star rating is early (only 5 ratings) but positive, and the listing carries Amazon's Choice tagging.
• Microwave and dishwasher compatibility makes it more convenient than delicate ceramic or melamine sets.
• Fulfilled by Amazon with the seller named as RetailEZ Pvt Ltd, so delivery and returns follow Amazon's usual process.

Pros and cons

Pros

• Verified ₹1,487.97 price with 68% claimed saving
• Bone-ash-free opalware; microwave and dishwasher safe
• Complete 31-piece coverage for six people

Cons

• Very small review base (5 ratings), so long-term durability feedback is thin
• Discount is measured against the listed MRP, which can overstate real-world savings
• Design and contents are fixed; buyers wanting open-stock flexibility may prefer individual pieces

Buyer fit

This suits households that want a full matching dinner set for daily use at a low cost, especially families who reheat food in the microwave and run a dishwasher. It is less suited to buyers who want premium stoneware aesthetics or a proven, heavily reviewed product.

Final verdict

At ₹1,487.97 for a 31-piece branded opalware set, this is a strong value buy if you need a full family dinner set. The price is verified on the Amazon page; the main caution is the limited review history, so treat the 4.5-star rating as directional rather than proven.
