Amazon: Lapgrade Laptop Battery for Acer TravelMate Series at ₹462 (82% off MRP)

At a glance

The Lapgrade replacement laptop battery for the Acer TravelMate 6231–6593 series is listed on Amazon India at ₹462, against an MRP of ₹2,600 — a claimed saving of about 82%. The price was confirmed on the Amazon product page itself, which also shows only a handful of units left in stock, Amazon fulfilment, and seller Clicktech Retail Private Ltd. A "Limited Period Festive Offer" label suggests the price may not last.

Quick facts

Product overview

This is a third-party replacement battery from Lapgrade aimed at a long list of older Acer TravelMate models — 6231, 6252, 6291, 6292, 6293, 6492, 6493, 6553 and 6593. These are legacy business laptops, so an affordable compatible battery can extend the life of a machine that would otherwise be tethered to a charger. The listing is in black, fulfilled by Amazon, with free delivery and the item marked as a "Limited Period Festive Offer."

Reasons to consider

• The ₹462 price is confirmed on the Amazon product page, and at that level it is a low-risk purchase for keeping an older TravelMate alive.
• It covers a wide range of TravelMate models, useful if you are unsure of the exact variant — check compatibility before buying.
• Amazon fulfilment and a named seller (Clicktech Retail Private Ltd) make returns and delivery more predictable than a direct third-party shipment.

Pros and cons

Pros

• Very low price versus the ₹2,600 MRP
• In stock and Amazon fulfilled with free delivery
• Broad TravelMate model compatibility

Cons

• Only a 3.5-star rating from a small pool of 11 reviews — no strong quality signal
• Just 2 units left in stock when checked, so availability may vanish quickly
• Third-party brand; capacity and longevity claims are unverified
• The MRP may be inflated; real-world prices for compatible batteries are often far below list price

Buyer fit

Best for owners of the listed Acer TravelMate models who need a cheap replacement battery and can accept the usual uncertainty of budget aftermarket cells. It is a poor fit if you want a guaranteed OEM-grade battery or need proven longevity data — there is little review evidence here to lean on.

Final verdict

The ₹462 price is real — it was confirmed directly on the Amazon product page, and the 82%-off-MRP framing matches the ₹2,600 list price shown there. That said, treat the MRP with scepticism and the product quality as unproven given only 11 ratings. If your TravelMate matches the compatibility list and you want a cheap stopgap, this is a reasonable low-cost bet — but act soon, since stock was down to two units and the offer is flagged as limited-period.
