Product overview
The Juarez JRZ39CL-BK-KIT is a full-sized 39-inch nylon-string classical acoustic guitar kit tailored specifically for students, complete beginners, and hobbyists. Unlike standard acoustic guitars that feature high-tension steel strings, classical guitars utilize nylon strings that exert far lower tension, sparing sensitive uncalloused fingertips during the early learning weeks.
The body is built using linden wood for the top, back, and sides, combined with an okoume wood neck and an ABS fingerboard finished in a high-gloss black coating. The starter kit eliminates the need for immediate accessory purchases by bundling a protective gig bag, a nylon shoulder strap, two plectrums, and a complete spare set of nylon strings right in the box.
Why consider it
- Extremely Low Barrier to Entry: At under ₹1,600 for the entire instrument and accessory bundle, this is among the cheapest functional entry points into learning music.
- Gentle on Novice Hands: Nylon strings provide a mellow classical timbre while staying significantly softer and more comfortable to press than harsh steel strings.
- Complete Starter Bundle: Having a carrying bag, backup string pack, picks, and strap pre-packaged means no hidden out-of-pocket setup costs.
- Reputable Fulfillment: Shipped via Amazon with prime fulfillment infrastructure, offering standard return and replacement policies.
Pros and cons
| Pros | Cons |
|---|---|
| Unbeatable starter bundle pricing under ₹1,600 | Linden wood and ABS construction limits acoustic sustain |
| Nylon strings minimize beginner fingertip fatigue | Nylon strings require frequent retuning when brand new |
| Fully equipped with bag, strap, spare strings, and picks | Not intended for stage performances or advanced players |
| Full 39-inch standard classical sizing | Advertised ₹7,490 MRP is heavily marked up |
Who should buy it
This kit is ideal for:
- Beginners or students exploring whether they want to commit to playing guitar with minimal financial investment upfront.
- Parents buying a starter musical instrument for children or school music classes.
- Casual hobbyists seeking an inexpensive, convenient acoustic guitar to keep around the house or dorm room.
Experienced players or anyone looking for premium tonewoods (such as solid spruce or mahogany) and fine action adjustments should invest in higher-tier beginner models from Yamaha or Cort instead.
Final verdict
At ₹1,599.63, the Juarez JRZ39CL-BK-KIT offers standout entry-level value. While the advertised ₹7,490 list price is an inflated retail anchor, getting a playable full-size classical guitar with all essential accessories for ₹1,600 is an easy recommendation for anyone dipping their toes into music for the first time with low financial commitment.

Questions
Is this guitar suitable for complete beginners?
Yes. Nylon strings have much less tension than steel strings, making chord shapes far easier and less painful for beginners to practice.
What accessories are included in the package?
The package includes a 39-inch classical guitar, a gig bag, an adjustable guitar strap, two picks, and a full replacement set of nylon strings.
Why do the nylon strings slip out of tune initially?
New nylon strings naturally stretch considerably during the first few days of use. Frequent retuning is completely normal until the strings settle.
