Product overview

The XPG ADATA GAMMIX S60 is a high‑performance solid‑state drive aimed at gamers and power users. It uses the latest PCIe Gen4 interface to deliver read speeds of up to 4.7 GB/s and write speeds of up to 1.7 GB/s, which translates into faster game loads, quicker file transfers, and snappier system responsiveness. The 512 GB capacity is suitable for operating systems, applications, and a moderate game library.

Reasons to consider

• Speed: Gen4 bandwidth provides a noticeable boost over older SATA or Gen3 SSDs.
• Price: At ₹8,929 the drive sits in the mid‑range price bracket for its performance tier.
• Compatibility: Fits any laptop or desktop with an M.2 2280 slot supporting PCIe Gen4.

Pros and cons

Pros

• High sequential read/write performance.
• Reliable brand (ADATA) with a solid warranty.
• Competitive price for the specs.

Cons

• Availability was not confirmed; stock may vary.
• No explicit mention of endurance (TBW) in the source data.
