Product overview

The Acer PalmEase is a budget wired keyboard-and-mouse set aimed at everyday desktop use. The keyboard is full-size with an integrated palm rest, a dedicated rupee symbol key and a Co-Pilot key for Windows 11 machines. The bundled mouse uses a 1600 DPI sensor, which is adequate for office work and general browsing. Acer advertises a 10 million keystroke life and plug-and-play USB 2.0 connectivity that works with both Windows and Mac systems without drivers.

Why consider it

• ₹488 for a branded keyboard-plus-mouse set is near the floor of what this category costs; unbranded combos often sit in the same range.
• The palm rest and rupee key are uncommon at this price and useful for Indian office layouts.
• Wired USB means no batteries, no pairing, and no dongle to lose — practical for shared or institutional PCs.
• The listing shows the item in stock and Amazon fulfilled, which keeps returns straightforward.

Pros and cons

Pros

• Confirmed ₹488 selling price on the merchant page
• Palm rest and dedicated ₹ and Co-Pilot keys
• Works on Windows and Mac with no software
• Sold by Clicktech Retail and fulfilled by Amazon

Cons

• Wired-only; cable clutter and limited desk placement
• Membrane keys and a basic 1600 DPI mouse — not aimed at gaming or heavy typists
• Build quality at this price is functional rather than premium
• An extended-warranty upsell appears on the page; it is optional and not part of the deal

Who should buy it

This suits students, home offices, and workplaces that need a dependable spare or first-time keyboard-and-mouse set without spending on wireless or mechanical hardware. Gamers, mechanical-keyboard enthusiasts, and anyone wanting a clutter-free wireless desk should look elsewhere.

Final verdict

At ₹488 with the price confirmed on Amazon.in and stock available, this is a solid value buy for a basic branded wired combo. If you need an inexpensive keyboard and mouse right now, it is easy to recommend; if you want wireless or mechanical switches, spend more on a different set.
