Amazon.in: Kartuviya 48V Cordless Grass Cutter / Lawn Trimmer at ₹28 (M.R.P. ₹5,999)

At a glance

Amazon.in is listing a Kartuviya 48V cordless grass cutter / lawn trimmer at ₹28 against a stated M.R.P. of ₹5,999 — effectively a ~100% markdown on paper. The merchant product page confirms the ₹28 selling price and shows the item in stock, sold by a third-party seller (JIYA ENTERPRISE). A price this low relative to the claimed M.R.P. is highly unusual and may be a listing error, so treat it as an opportunistic punt rather than a reliable price.

Product overview

This is a budget cordless lawn trimmer kit aimed at home-garden use. The listing promises a 48V machine with two batteries, a wheeled base, and a bundle of interchangeable blades — saw blades, six metal blades and nylon blades — plus basic safety gear (glasses and gloves). Kartuviya is a little-known value brand commonly sold via marketplace sellers, so expectations for build quality, battery life and after-sales support should be modest regardless of the discount.

Reasons to consider

• The merchant page itself confirms the ₹28 selling price — this is not just an advertised claim.
• At ₹28 the downside is trivial; even if the machine only works for light trimming, the outlay is minimal.
• The bundle (two batteries, multiple blade types, safety gear) is unusually complete on paper.
• Fulfilment is shown as delivered by Amazon, which helps with delivery reliability and returns compared with seller-shipped listings.

Pros and cons

Pros

• Extraordinarily low selling price, verified on the product page
• In stock with free delivery shown
• Complete accessory kit for occasional lawn/garden trimming

Cons

• A ₹28 price on a ₹5,999 M.R.P. looks like a possible pricing error; orders may be cancelled or the price corrected quickly
• The stated M.R.P. cannot be verified and may be inflated — the real typical price of this kit is unknown
• Unknown brand with unclear warranty and after-sales support
• No coupon needed, but also no guarantee the advertised accessory set arrives as described

Buyer fit

This suits buyers willing to gamble ₹28 on a possibly mispriced listing: hobby gardeners, or anyone curious to see whether the deal ships. If the order is cancelled you lose nothing, and Amazon's returns help if the item disappoints. It is not a fit for someone who needs a dependable trimmer — a verified-namebrand option at a normal price would serve better.

Final verdict

The ₹28 price is real on the Amazon.in page right now, which makes this a legitimate — if suspiciously deep — markdown. Worth a try for curious buyers who accept a real risk of cancellation or a product that doesn't match expectations; do not count on the ₹5,999 M.R.P. as proof of value.
