Product overview

These are chlorine-based tablets intended for disinfecting stored water in tanks. According to the listing, a single 5 g tablet is suited to treating water in tanks of up to 1,000 litres, making the pack aimed at households, small buildings, or facilities that periodically sanitise overhead or storage tanks. Chlorination is a standard method for controlling bacteria and algae in stored water, though correct dosing and contact time matter — buyers should follow the usage instructions on the packaging.

Reasons to consider

• ₹289 for 30 tablets is a low-cost way to keep tank disinfectant on hand for routine maintenance.
• The item is in stock with free delivery shown, and a faster Amazon-fulfilled option at ₹299 was visible on the page.
• The 1,000-litre rating matches common residential overhead tank sizes, so one pack covers multiple treatment cycles for a typical household.

Pros and cons

Pros

• Low overall spend for a multi-dose pack of tank disinfectant
• Clear stated capacity (tanks up to 1,000 litres) simplifies dosing decisions
• Multiple buying options were shown, including an Amazon-fulfilled listing

Cons

• The advertised "up to 64% off" could not be verified — no MRP was displayed, so the true discount is unclear
• Chlorine tablets require careful handling and correct dosing; misuse can affect water taste and safety
• This is a utilitarian consumable, so it only makes sense if you actually maintain a water tank

Buyer fit

This suits homeowners, housing societies, and facility managers who maintain overhead or storage water tanks and want a low-cost disinfectant on hand. It is not relevant for drinking-water purification on the go or for buyers expecting a verified deep discount — the headline percentage off remains unconfirmed.

Final verdict

Worth buying if you need tank chlorination tablets anyway: ₹289 for a 30-piece pack is a modest, reasonable spend with free delivery. Treat the "up to 64% off" figure as advertising rather than fact, since the listing we checked showed no reference MRP to validate it.
