Amazon: Gear Classic 6 31L Antitheft Laptop Backpack at ₹899

At a glance

Amazon lists the Gear Classic 6 18-inch/31L antitheft faux-leather laptop backpack in Teal-Brown at ₹899. The ₹899 figure was confirmed by product-bound pricing evidence on the merchant page, which also showed the item in stock but with only one unit remaining. The advertised “82% savings” appears on the page, but an explicit MRP was not confirmed, so that percentage should be treated cautiously.

Quick facts

Product overview

The Gear Classic 6 is positioned as a large everyday backpack suitable for college, commuting and short trips. The merchant listing describes a 31-litre capacity, faux-leather construction, water resistance and antitheft-oriented design. At the observed ₹899 price, it sits firmly in the budget laptop-backpack segment.

The Teal-Brown colour gives it a more distinctive appearance than a standard all-black bag, while the 31-litre capacity should provide enough room for a laptop, charger, books and daily essentials. Exact compartment dimensions and materials beyond the listing description were not independently verified.

Reasons to consider

The strongest reason is the confirmed ₹899 selling price for a 31-litre backpack with a large number of customer ratings. A 4.3-star rating from 464 ratings is respectable for a budget bag and suggests that buyers have generally found it acceptable for everyday use.

It also ships from Amazon, which may make delivery and returns smoother than buying from a less-established marketplace seller. The listing mentions a 30-day exchange or return option, although shoppers should check the return terms shown during checkout before ordering.

Pros and cons

Pros

• Confirmed ₹899 selling price
• Large 31-litre capacity for daily carry
• Distinctive Teal-Brown colour option
• Strong 4.3-star rating across 464 ratings
• Ships from Amazon

Cons

• Only one unit was shown in stock when checked
• Faux leather may not wear like genuine leather over time
• The advertised 82% saving lacks a confirmed MRP in the pricing evidence
• Antitheft and water-resistance claims were not independently tested

Buyer fit

This is a sensible option for students, office commuters and travellers who need an inexpensive, large-capacity laptop bag and like the Teal-Brown styling. It is less suitable for buyers who specifically want genuine leather, proven waterproofing or a premium business backpack.

Because only one unit was shown in stock, interested shoppers should verify the current price, variant and seller on the Amazon page before checkout. A low advertised price does not help if the product sells out or the selected seller changes.

Final verdict

At a confirmed ₹899, the Gear Classic 6 31L backpack looks like a reasonable budget buy if it matches your size and style requirements. The limited stock and unconfirmed MRP keep it from being a standout deal, but the product itself appears competitively priced for its capacity and rating. Check that the ₹899 price still applies to the Teal-Brown variant before buying.
