Amazon: DRx5 Classic V-Neck Scrub Suit advertised at ₹290 with coupon (listed at ₹899)

At a glance

A deal alert advertises the DRx5 Classic V-Neck scrub suit set on Amazon India at an effective ₹290 after applying a coupon. On the Amazon product page we could read, the same set is listed at ₹899 against an MRP of ₹1,000 — a 10% saving shown on the page. We could not confirm the ₹290 coupon price in Amazon's structured pricing, so treat ₹290 as an advertised, coupon-dependent figure and verify it on the offer screen before paying.

Product overview

This is a two-piece medical scrub set aimed at doctors, nurses and hospital staff, sold under the DRx5 brand in Amazon's Industrial & Scientific category. The listing describes a classic V-neck top and matching trousers in a "premium blend" fabric pitched at comfort and durability. The page we read showed the Turquoise Blue colourway in Extra Large, with sizes from XS through extra-large variants available, though some colour options appear unavailable. It is Amazon-delivered with a secure transaction and a 10-day return or size-exchange policy, which matters for a fit-sensitive garment like scrubs.

Reasons to consider

• If the advertised coupon actually brings the set to ₹290, that is a very low entry cost for a full scrub set compared with both the ₹899 listed price and the ₹1,000 MRP.
• Even at the ₹899 list price, it is a budget-friendly uniform option for students, interns or staff needing spares.
• Amazon delivery, free-delivery eligibility and a 10-day exchange policy reduce the usual risk of buying sized workwear online.

Pros and cons

Pros

• Very low advertised effective price if the coupon applies
• Full set (top and trousers) rather than a single piece
• Free delivery and 10-day return/exchange on fit issues

Cons

• The ₹290 coupon price was not confirmed in Amazon's structured pricing — only the ₹899 listing text was visible
• Modest 3.4-star rating across 45 reviews suggests mixed buyer experience with fabric or fit
• Coupon availability can be account- or stock-specific and may vanish at checkout
• Limited colour availability observed on the page

Buyer fit

Best suited to healthcare workers and medical students who need an inexpensive spare or starter scrub set and are flexible on colour and finish. Buyers who need guaranteed durability for daily heavy rotation may want to weigh the middling rating and consider whether the risk is acceptable at the final checkout price.

Final verdict

Worth a look if you actually need scrubs and the coupon stacks to the advertised ₹290 — at that price the risk is minimal given the 10-day return window. If the coupon does not apply, ₹899 is still reasonable but less compelling for a 3.4-rated set, so check the price on the final order screen before committing.
