Amazon: Dell Alienware 15 (Ryzen R7 260, RTX 5050) — SBI card offer advertised

At a glance

A deal alert advertises the Dell Alienware 15 gaming laptop — AMD Ryzen R7 260, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5050 8GB, 16GB RAM, 512GB SSD — at an effective ₹1,05,990 on Amazon India after a flat ₹38,250 SBI debit/credit card discount. The Amazon product page confirms the laptop is in stock, but the current selling price shown is ₹1,50,990, which does not match the advertised maths. Treat the ₹1,05,990 figure as an advertised effective price that we could not fully verify.

Product overview

This is Dell's Alienware 15 configured with AMD's Ryzen R7 260 processor and NVIDIA's RTX 5050 laptop GPU with 8GB of GDDR7 memory. The 15.3-inch WUXGA panel runs at 165Hz with 300 nits brightness, and the machine ships with Windows 11 and MS Office 2024. At 2.25kg it's a fairly portable gaming laptop for its class. The configuration — 16GB RAM and a 512GB SSD — is the standard mid-tier gaming spec.

Reasons to consider

• RTX 5050 with 8GB GDDR7 is a current-generation GPU suitable for 1080p/1200p gaming at high settings.
• 165Hz display pairs well with the GPU for esports titles.
• If an SBI card discount of the advertised ₹38,250 is live at checkout, the effective price could be meaningfully below the ₹1,50,990 list price — though that discount does not reconcile cleanly with the advertised effective price, so the exact offer terms need checking on the product page.
• In stock with free delivery per the Amazon page at the time of our check.

Pros and cons

Pros

• Current-gen RTX 50-series GPU with 8GB VRAM
• 165Hz display, backlit Alienware keyboard
• Includes Windows 11 and MS Office 2024
• Seller page links to Clicktech Retail Private Ltd, a known large Amazon India seller

Cons

• Advertised discount arithmetic does not reconcile with the observed ₹1,50,990 selling price
• 512GB SSD fills quickly with modern game installs
• 300-nit panel is adequate indoors but not bright
• Bank-card discounts are payment-dependent and can have caps or end dates

Buyer fit

Worth a look for buyers who want an Alienware-branded machine with a current-gen GPU and already hold an SBI credit or debit card. Buyers without an SBI card should evaluate it strictly at the ₹1,50,990 list price against competing RTX 5050 machines.

Final verdict

The laptop itself is confirmed on Amazon India at ₹1,50,990 and in stock. The advertised SBI card discount could not be verified from the page evidence, and the advertised effective price doesn't cleanly match the listed price — so check the offers section on the product page and confirm the instant discount at checkout before buying. At its verified price it is a solid but not exceptional Alienware configuration; only proceed if the bank discount appears for your card.
