Product overview

The Energion Caelum is a 1200mm ceiling fan from Crompton's BLDC range. BLDC (brushless DC) motor fans draw significantly less power than conventional induction-motor fans, which translates into meaningful electricity savings over the fan's lifetime. According to the Amazon listing, this model carries a BEE 5-star energy rating, ships with a remote that offers regulator-style speed control, and can pair multiple fans to a single remote. Crompton advertises high air delivery and low-noise operation, along with a 4-year brand warranty.

Reasons to consider

• Verified ₹2,999 price: the Amazon buy-box price matches the advertised figure, so there is no bait pricing involved.
• BLDC efficiency: 5-star rated BLDC fans recover their price premium through lower electricity bills, especially in homes where fans run for many hours a day.
• Remote + regulator control: convenient for bedrooms and living rooms without needing a separate regulator on the wall.
• 4-year warranty: longer coverage than the 2-year warranty common on budget fans.
• Amazon fulfilment: shipped by Amazon with free delivery, simplifying returns and service issues.

Pros and cons

Pros

• Confirmed in-stock at ₹2,999
• BEE 5-star BLDC motor for lower power consumption
• Remote control with multi-fan pairing
• 4-year brand warranty

Cons

• No explicit MRP is shown on the page, so the size of any discount versus list price can't be quantified
• Sold by a third-party seller (RetailEZ Pvt Ltd), though fulfilled by Amazon
• Optional extended-warranty add-ons shown at checkout add to the effective cost if selected
• BLDC fans sit at a price premium over basic induction-motor fans, so this is a fair listing rather than a standout steal

Buyer fit

This suits buyers replacing older induction-motor fans or fitting out a room who want a known-brand BLDC fan with remote control without spending on premium models. If you specifically need a designer finish, smart/app control, or an underlight, look at higher-end Energion variants instead. Buyers who just want the cheapest possible fan will find conventional induction-motor options for much less, though they cost more to run over time.

Final verdict

A solid, verified listing: the Crompton Energion Caelum BLDC fan at ₹2,999 on Amazon.in is in stock, sold by a fulfilled-by-Amazon seller, and the price is confirmed on the merchant page. There is no published MRP to measure the saving against, so treat it as a fair-market price on an efficient 5-star fan rather than a deep discount — worth buying if you need a BLDC fan now.
