Amazon: Crompton Arno Prime 15L 5-Star Storage Water Heater listed at ₹6,079 (advertised deal ₹5,472)

At a glance

The Crompton Arno Prime 15-litre 5-star storage water heater is advertised at ₹5,472 (claimed 52% off), but the Amazon.in product page currently shows a selling price of ₹6,079 with the unit in stock. Treat ₹5,472 as an advertised price that could not be confirmed at the merchant — the page price is what applies unless a coupon or limited-time price appears at checkout.

Product overview

The Arno Prime is a 15-litre storage geyser aimed at bathrooms and small families. Crompton lists anti-scale technology rated for hard water up to 2000 ppm, an 8-bar pressure rating suitable for high-rise buildings, 5-level safety protection, free inlet/outlet pipes in the box, and an 8-year tank warranty. It is sold on Amazon.in as ASIN B0F9YPMXJ2.

Reasons to consider

• Hard-water anti-scale design is genuinely useful in many Indian cities where scaling kills heating elements early.
• The 8-bar rating makes it suitable for high-rise apartments with pressure pumps.
• A 5-star efficiency rating should keep running costs lower than cheaper unrated units.
• An 8-year tank warranty is on the longer side for this segment.

Pros and cons

Pros:

• Strong warranty on the tank
• Hard-water tolerance and high-rise pressure rating
• In stock with fast delivery options

Cons:

• The advertised ₹5,472 price was not visible on the merchant page — ₹6,079 was observed
• No coupon code was detected on the page at check time
• Installation charges and fittings beyond the free pipes are not covered here

Buyer fit

Worth a look if you need a 15-litre storage geyser for a hard-water area or a high-rise flat and are buying on Amazon anyway. If you were drawn in specifically by the ₹5,472 figure, check the live listing first — prices on Amazon fluctuate and the lower price may return, but it is not what the page showed when checked.

Final verdict

A solid, well-specced 15-litre geyser, but the headline deal price could not be confirmed: the merchant page lists ₹6,079, not ₹5,472. Reasonable to buy if ₹6,079 fits your budget; otherwise set a price alert and wait rather than assuming the advertised discount still applies.
