Product overview

The Crompton AQNova is a wall-mounted slant chimney with a BLDC motor rated at 1,800m³/hr suction capacity — a high figure suited to heavy Indian cooking with frying and tadka. The 60cm width covers standard 2–4 burner cooktops. Crompton's listing highlights AirIQ adaptive suction that adjusts to cooking smoke, an intelligent autoclean function to reduce manual degreasing, and motion-sensor controls for touch-free operation. The package includes free installation and a ducting kit, which removes a common hidden cost with chimneys.

Reasons to consider

• 1,800m³/hr is strong suction for this size class, useful in kitchens without cross-ventilation.
• BLDC motors run quieter and more efficiently than conventional motors, and the 15-year motor warranty plus 4-year overall warranty is above the category norm.
• Autoclean plus motion-sensor controls reduce two of the most annoying ownership chores.
• Free installation and a bundled ducting kit can save a meaningful amount in aftermarket fitting costs.

Pros and cons

Pros

• Verified merchant price of ₹29,390 with product-bound pricing evidence
• Sold via Amazon fulfilment by a named seller, with secure transaction handling
• Long warranty coverage and included installation kit

Cons

• The advertised ₹22,390 effective price was not confirmed — no coupon code appeared on the page we read
• The SBI credit card discount, if live, is payment-conditional and may have caps or eligibility rules
• Only 1 unit in stock at check time, so the offer may lapse quickly
• Single-seller listing; enhancements like extended protection were unavailable for this seller

Buyer fit

This suits buyers upgrading from a basic chimney or fitting out a new kitchen who want high suction and low-maintenance cleaning, and who hold an SBI credit card. If you lack an SBI card or the coupon has ended, the real price is ₹29,390 — still reasonable for a BLDC, 1,800m³/hr model with bundled installation, but not the headline saving.

Final verdict

A capable, well-warranted chimney at a verifiable ₹29,390. If you can actually apply the ₹4,000 coupon and an SBI card discount at checkout and reach ~₹22,390, it's a strong buy; if not, judge it at ₹29,390 against rivals like Faber and Hindware. Verify the coupon checkbox on the product page and the SBI offer terms before paying — with only one unit left, availability is the bigger risk.
