Product overview

The Lunar Discovery is boAt's budget Bluetooth-calling smartwatch, sold in a 2026 Edition with a 1.39-inch (3.5 cm) HD display. It covers the usual entry-level smartwatch basics: calling over Bluetooth from the wrist, an emergency SOS function, and health tracking for heart rate, blood oxygen (SpO2) and sleep. Amazon categorises it under Toys & Games, which is common for low-cost wearables and does not change what the product is.

Why consider it

• ₹1,258 is a very low price for a Bluetooth-calling smartwatch from a mainstream Indian wearables brand.
• The price was verified against the live Amazon listing, not just an advertised figure.
• It is in stock and fulfilled by Amazon, so delivery and returns follow Amazon's usual process.
• Feature coverage is broad for the price: calling, SOS and three health-tracking modes.

Pros and cons

Pros

• Verified ₹1,258 selling price on Amazon.in
• Bluetooth calling and emergency SOS included
• HR, SpO2 and sleep tracking in a budget device
• Amazon-fulfilled, in stock

Cons

• No MRP or discount percentage is shown on the listing, so the depth of the deal cannot be quantified.
• The related extended-warranty add-on carries a 3.9 rating from 1,567 reviews; watch quality itself is unverified here.
• Budget boAt watches typically rely on a companion app and lack the polish of pricier wearables.

Who should buy it

This suits buyers who want a cheap Bluetooth-calling smartwatch for casual use, first-time smartwatch users, or anyone needing basic fitness metrics plus SOS without spending much. Buyers who want GPS, NFC payments or premium build quality should look at higher-priced models.

Final verdict

At a verified ₹1,258, the boAt Lunar Discovery 2026 Edition is a sensible budget buy if you need Bluetooth calling and basic health tracking. The listing does not show a reference MRP, so treat this as a good everyday price rather than a headline-grabbing discount. If you already need an entry-level smartwatch, this is worth picking up.
