Product overview

The Bassheads 100 is boAt's entry-level wired earphone: an in-ear bud design with an inline microphone, a 3.5mm-style wired connection, and a tangle-prone budget cable. It's aimed at calls, casual music, and backup use rather than critical listening. The Furious Red variant is the one on offer here. The Amazon listing also carries an optional Onsitego 1-year extended warranty add-on for ₹85, which is separate from the earphone price.

Reasons to consider

• ₹279 is a very low entry price for a branded wired earphone with a mic from a mainstream Indian audio brand.
• Useful as a spare pair for calls, online classes, or devices that still have a headphone jack.
• Wired design means no charging, no pairing, and no battery degradation.
• Fulfilled via Amazon with an identifiable seller (Clicktech Retail Private Ltd), which keeps returns straightforward.

Pros and cons

Pros

• Confirmed ₹279 selling price on the merchant page
• Inline microphone for calls
• Recognisable budget brand with wide service reach in India

Cons

• The advertised 72% discount could not be verified — no MRP was visible on the page checked
• Budget wired earphones at this price offer basic sound and build; expect no frills
• Wired-only, so no use on phones without a 3.5mm jack or adapter

Buyer fit

This suits anyone wanting the cheapest reasonable branded earphones for calls, commuting, or a backup pair — students, office users, and spare-drawer buyers. Skip it if you need strong bass tuning, premium build, or wireless convenience.

Final verdict

At ₹279, the boAt Bassheads 100 is a low-risk buy if you need a cheap wired earphone with a mic — the price is confirmed on Amazon.in and the product is in stock. Treat the 72%-off figure as an advertised claim rather than a verified saving, since the MRP wasn't shown on the page. If you need a basic pair anyway, this is worth picking up.
