Why consider it
- Very low price point: At ₹329, this is among the cheapest branded enclosures available for repurposing older drives.
- Breathe life into spare SSDs: If you upgraded your laptop from an M.2 SATA drive to NVMe, this adapter lets you reuse the old drive as high-speed external flash storage.
- Modern USB-C connectivity: Direct connection to modern laptops, MacBooks, and Android smartphones supporting OTG.

Who should buy it
This enclosure is ideal for:
- Anyone with an extra or retired M.2 SATA SSD from an older laptop or desktop PC.
- Users looking for a budget-friendly portable drive solution using spare solid-state memory.
It is not suitable for users with modern NVMe M-Key PCIe SSDs, as those drives will not fit or function in this enclosure.

At ₹329, the Amazon Basics M.2 SATA NGFF Enclosure delivers unbeatable value if you have a compatible SATA M.2 SSD looking for a second life. Just verify that your SSD has B-Key or B+M Key SATA notches and is not an NVMe PCIe drive before ordering.
