Product overview

The Bajaj Skive is a compact 5-litre instant water heater aimed at bathrooms and kitchens that need quick hot water in small volumes rather than a large storage geyser. The stainless-steel inner tank is the usual upgrade over cheaper plastic-lined units, and the listing highlights suitability for high-rise buildings, meaning it is rated to handle the higher water pressure common on upper floors. It ships with a 2-year product warranty from Bajaj, a mainstream Indian appliance brand with a wide service network.

Reasons to consider

• The ₹3,478 price is confirmed on the merchant page and is competitive for a 5-litre instant heater from a major brand.
• High-rise pressure rating matters if you live in a tall apartment block, where cheaper heaters can fail early.
• Stainless-steel tank plus rust-proof outer body suits humid bathroom installation.
• A 2-year warranty is standard-to-good for this category, and Bajaj's service reach is broad in India.
• Instant heaters draw high wattage for short bursts, which can be cheaper to run than a storage geyser for one-bucket or shower use.

Pros and cons

Pros

• Verified ₹3,478 selling price, in stock with free delivery
• SS tank, shock-resistant body, multiple safety systems
• Suitable for high-rise water pressure
• 2-year product warranty from Bajaj

Cons

• The advertised 55% off cannot be verified — no MRP is shown on the page
• 5 litres is small; it is for quick tasks, not long showers for a family
• Sold by a third-party seller, so check seller rating and return terms
• Instant geysers need proper wiring and earthing; installation cost is extra

Buyer fit

This makes sense for a single person or couple who want fast hot water at the basin or for a short shower, especially in a high-rise flat. It is less suited to families who need several consecutive buckets of hot water — a storage geyser of 15 litres or more fits that job better. Budget for professional installation and confirm your bathroom wiring can handle the heater's wattage.

Final verdict

At a confirmed ₹3,478, this is a reasonable buy if a 5-litre instant heater matches your needs. Ignore the unverified 55% figure and judge it on the price you actually pay and the 2-year Bajaj warranty. Check the seller's ratings and delivery date at checkout before ordering.
