Quick facts

Product overview

The Aristocrat Comet is a cabin-size hard-sided suitcase from VIP Industries' Aristocrat luggage brand. The Amazon listing describes a 56 cm polycarbonate shell on eight spinner wheels, a built-in combination lock, a lightweight build and a three-year global warranty — aimed at travellers who want an affordable hard case for short domestic trips and airline cabin allowances.

The merchant page currently shows a selling price of ₹1,293 with the bag in stock. The advertised deal quotes an effective price of ₹1,099 via a "15% off coupon". Fifteen percent off ₹1,293 works out to roughly ₹1,099, so the claim is arithmetically consistent — but no coupon was visible on the product page when checked, so the lower price cannot be confirmed.

Reasons to consider

• ₹1,293 is already a low price for a branded hard-shell cabin suitcase; ~₹1,099 after coupon would be stronger still.
• Polycarbonate shells typically outlast the soft or ABS bags common at this price point.
• Eight spinner wheels and a combination lock are useful features that budget cases often skip.
• A 3-year global warranty from an established Indian luggage brand adds reassurance.
• Sold by VIP Industries Limited itself on Amazon, with 30-day exchange/return per the listing.

Pros and cons

Pros

• Confirmed ₹1,293 selling price on Amazon India
• Hard polycarbonate case, spinner wheels, lock, 3-year warranty
• Recognised brand sold by the manufacturer
• In stock at the time of checking

Cons

• The headline ₹1,099 depends on a 15% coupon that was not visible on the page
• Only the green 56 cm cabin variant is confirmed at this price
• Cabin size suits short trips only; check-in travellers need a bigger size

Buyer fit

A good match for budget-conscious flyers who need a compact cabin case for weekend trips or as a secondary bag, and who value a hard shell over maximum packing flexibility. Less suited to anyone needing large check-in capacity or premium features like TSA-approved locks and expandable sections.

Final verdict

At ₹1,293 this is already a reasonable price for a branded polycarbonate cabin bag with a 3-year warranty, and it is worth buying if you need one. If the advertised 15% coupon appears on your listing or at checkout — bringing it to about ₹1,099 — it becomes a very good deal. Verify the coupon box before paying, since we could not confirm it on the page.
