It features a 2KW heating element for rapid water heating and a Blue Diamond glass-lined tank engineered to resist corrosion in hard water conditions. Rated 4 stars by BEE for energy efficiency, it balances heating speed with moderate power consumption.

Why consider it

• Durable Tank Coating: Blue Diamond glass lining extends tank lifespan and guards against hard water scaling.
• Energy Efficient: 4-star BEE rating helps keep electricity consumption lower compared to entry-level heaters.
• Solid Warranty: Backed by a 5-year warranty on the inner container and 2-year comprehensive coverage.

Pros and cons

• Pros: Fast 2KW heating, reliable brand warranty, anti-corrosion tank protection.
• Cons: 6-litre capacity is best suited for small families or single bathrooms; live price of ₹5,899 is higher than the ₹5,309 promotional claim.

Who should buy it

This water heater is suitable for households needing a compact, reliable geyser for quick showers or kitchen use. If you require continuous hot water for large bathtubs, consider a 15-litre or 25-litre model instead.

Final verdict

At the live price of ₹5,899, the AO Smith 6L 4-star geyser remains a solid choice for quality construction, though it is not at the discounted ₹5,309 advertised by the source. Consider purchasing if you need a durable geyser immediately, or watch for upcoming bank offers to narrow the price gap.
