Product overview

The GI 790 is amazon basics' compatible refill ink for Canon's PIXMA G-series ink-tank printers. The listing covers a yellow dual pack with a 70ml bottle format, intended to top up the yellow tank on supported PIXMA models. Third-party refill inks like this are popular with high-volume home and small-office users because they cost a fraction of Canon's own GI-790 bottles.

Reasons to consider

• The advertised ₹31 price would be unusually low for a 70ml refill bottle, making this a potentially strong value if it returns to stock at that price.
• amazon basics ink carries a 6-month warranty and is sold by Amazon's own brand, which generally means easier returns than marketplace refill sellers.
• The early rating shown on the page (4.8/5 from 5 ratings) is positive, though the sample size is very small.

Pros and cons

Pros

• Extremely low advertised price for a dual-pack refill
• Broad PIXMA G-series compatibility list
• Amazon's own brand with stated warranty and returns policy

Cons

• Currently unavailable — cannot actually be ordered at the advertised price
• Very few ratings, so long-term print quality and printer-safety track record is unproven
• Third-party ink can affect print longevity and colour accuracy versus genuine Canon ink

Buyer fit

Worth a look only for Canon PIXMA G-series owners who are comfortable using compatible ink and can wait for a restock. If you need ink urgently, this listing cannot help today. If you do buy it later, verify the price on the product page — the ₹31 figure is advertised, not confirmed, and Amazon pricing on this ASIN may differ when stock returns.

Final verdict

An advertised ₹31 price for a 70ml amazon basics refill is compelling on paper, but the product is out of stock and the price is unconfirmed, so treat this as a watch-list lead rather than a buyable deal. Check the listing again if it comes back in stock before paying anything.
